Sunday, August 11

  • Native American Encampment continues at the Mounds through 6 p.m.
  • Aquatorium, Fishing derby, early morning Yoga, Ham Radio Club bike race
  • Chess Park, Praise and Worship in the Park Service, 9:30 a.m.
  • 12:30 p.m., Rippels on the Creek, Monongahela 250 years of fashion with a whiskey pairing and small plate items. (A liquid journey through our City’s early years). Tickets required, $18 pre-sale, $20 at door.
  • 1 p.m. Chess Park, Monongahela Area Historical Society, Guinness Record attempt, World’s Largest Wedding Cookie Table including weddings, (set up 11 a.m.), more information at Facebook: The Wedding Cookie Table Community
  • 3 p.m. Closing of 250th, Chess Park, followed by blue grass concert, Jakobs Ferry Stragglers concert, blue grass band, presented by Mon Valley Academy for the Arts and EQT.
